One Year Anniversary
Saturday, March 7

A festive morning open to the Marin community — coffee, donuts, music, and a lineup of member vehicles as we open the doors to friends, family, and neighbors.
B-Day Bash & F1 Watch Party | 7:00 – 10:00 PM
We’ll keep the celebration going into the evening with a members-only Birthday Bash and watch party for the first Formula 1 race of the season. Cocktails, late-night bites, and a proper toast to Year One.
Mahjong Night

A relaxed evening of Mahjong at the clubhouse. Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the game, we’ll have lessons available along with light bites and beverages.

Ferrari x Gerald Charles Showcase

A special collaboration with Ferrari of San Francisco and Gerald Charles Watches. Members are invited to explore the craftsmanship of these iconic brands, with curated Ferrari test drives available by reservation.
Clubhouse Pop-Up: Lord’s Custom Tailors

Lord’s Custom Tailors will be hosting an in-club pop-up offering consultations and fittings. Stop by to explore fabrics, discuss custom pieces, and enjoy a relaxed evening at the Club.

Event Recap: MEMBERS’ DRIVE
February’s Members’ Drive was one for the books.
A group of 24 cars set out toward Limantour Beach, carving through the quiet backroads of West Marin before arriving at the coast. The morning felt almost surreal — sweeping ocean views, crisp air, and the sense that we had the entire stretch of coastline to ourselves.
Breakfast burritos were unpacked, hoods were opened, and the lineup of machinery made for an impressive display against the Pacific backdrop.

Jody Scheckter’s 1971 F3 Merlyn Mk21 (Chassis 318) — F3 to F1
Some cars are significant because of what they are. This one is significant because of what it represents: a moment when raw talent, grit, and opportunity lined up — and a future Formula One World Champion took the fast route to the top.
Chassis 318 is a Merlyn Mk21 Formula 3 car that Jody Scheckter put together as a 20-year-old newcomer to Europe in 1971, fresh off winning Formula Ford in South Africa. With support from Colchester Racing Development, a loaned Holbay engine, and Firestone tires, Scheckter assembled the car himself and jumped into the second half of the British F3 season — a serious move in a category filled with professional teams and drivers chasing the same ladder.
The car was competitive immediately: a podium in his first outing, followed by multiple wins soon after. Just over a year later, Scheckter made his Formula One debut for McLaren at Watkins Glen — an extraordinary ascent in a remarkably short window, and one that still reads like racing folklore.
Fresh off a restoration, the car will now see the track again with member Ben Zlotkin campaigning it in vintage series, including the upcoming Velocity Invitational at Sonoma Raceway.
